Yuga

Joint project with Oriana Haddad.

Yuga embodies the Deity of Patience and Gestation. It was created during the prolonged covid restrictions measures on mobility, when my wife and I were locked in our home in Milan. It is named after the Yugas, which, in Hindu cosmology, refer to millennial cycles of universal time and evolution of consciousness. While we experience the struggles and the hindrances for attaining change in our life, Yuga transcends our restless desires, and gifts us with the power that lies within stillness. Like the plants kingdom, She teaches us the fertility of patience and endurance by nurturing the eternal present, where birth and manifestation of life are already contained within us.
