
Transformational breath session
Each session lasts around 1.5 to 2 hours. Feeling safe in your session is the most fundamental part before anything else. The first pillars are full consent, self-agency and compassionate curiosity.
Intention
Our session begins with inviting you to set an intention. This can be a question like: what is it that you truly want for yourself? what does your heart desire? We work together in finding what resonates deeply with you by attuning to your thoughts, emotions and sensations.
Breathing
After having set your intention, I invite you to lay down on the mat and start the breathing practice. I will observe and analyze how your breath moves in and through your body, which will guide me to identify physical and emotional tensions. I will then apply hand-touch and pressure on those parts of the body where tensions needs to be released and the breath needs to flow. I will accompany the practice with the use of systemic affirmations that help rewiring the unconscious programs. I may also invite you to tone and/or move your body, when necessary, so as to support more the expression and natural flow of emotions.
Integration
In this last phase of the session we bring the breathing practice to a closure. We allow the body to rest for some time so that the nervous system can process and integrate the changes that occurred until it reaches a state of balance and harmony. After that we will leave space for exchanging feedback.
Benefits of the session
- The breath is our life force and is one of our most intimate and safest tools, that can help us access our subconscious mind in our body. On a physical level, we breathe in a deep and full conscious connected diaphragmatic way; bringing more air deeply into our lower belly and all other areas where we are not breathing well into. It opens our respiratory system, oxygenates and detoxifies our body, while releasing physical tensions.
- On an emotional level, this continuous flow of energy creates entrainment which helps in transforming and integrating repressed and numbed emotions of survival that we have been carrying in our body since a very long time.
- On a spiritual level, this process allows us to reconnect with the intelligence and divinity within ourselves, to feel safer in our body and to transform our relation towards the world.
